What is Easter Cracked?
Easter Cracked is a presentation for schools where we learn why Christians have celebrated Easter for the last 2000 years. It is primarily aimed at school children in Year 5 (ages 9-10). As part of this we look at the Gospels, which give accounts of Jesus’ life and ministry; hear from witnesses and see how we remember Easter today, both within the church and in everyday life.

The Presentation
We have run the presentation for 11 years now. Typically a number of schools would visit and spend about an hour-and-a-half going through the different sections in different parts of the building with different people performing as the witnesses. Unfortunately the Coronavirus pandemic has meant we can’t run Easter Cracked at the church, so we have prepared this digital production in its place. It’s been filmed and compiled by members of our congregation:
